Quick Steps in Outlook 2010 allow you to configure multiple actions like moving emails to a folder, replying to emails, flagging, deleting, forwarding, etc. Outlook 2010 comes with a set of default Quick steps. You can also create additional custom Quick steps according to your needs.
Creating a Quick Step in Outlook
- Open MS Outlook 2010 » Home tab » Quick Steps Group » Create New » In the Edit Quick Step dialogue box, name your new Quick Step
- Add Actions. Select the actions that you want this Quick step to perform.
- You have an option to configure a shortcut key. You also have an option to enter a Tooltip message » Click Finish
Using a Quick Step in Outlook
- Open MS Outlook 2010 » Home tab » Quick Steps Group
- Select the emails you want to apply the Quick Step » Click the Quick Step you want to Apply
